It’s November, and this Buy El Paso Adventure is here to make your Thanksgiving preparation easy while expressing gratitude for our local businesses. We’ve got you covered on this episode of Buy El Paso Adventures, from the main course to the sides.
For nearly fifty years, Coronado Prime Meats has supplied the El Paso community with a variety of fresh meats. We scoped out Coronado’s Thanksgiving meat selection and spoke to Mark “Jerome” Jennison, meat cutter and customer service representative. Mark told us Coronado Prime Meats’ turkeys are never frozen, unlike big-name retailers, making them fresher and tastier all around.
Mark suggested customers also try rib roasts for the upcoming holidays. Coronado’s roasts are fresh – they are tied as you purchase them. Coronado Prime Meats is now taking orders for turkeys and will continue through mid-November. To make sure your name is on the list, order your turkey today!
Next, we visited The Culinary Studio. We spoke with Tara Livingston, proprietor, to hear about The Culinary Studio’s prepared to-go items available for pick up or delivery two days before Thanksgiving.
Their goal is simple: to ensure you stress less about preparing and focus more on your family and friends. The store will offer family-style side packages of green bean casserole with artichoke, jalapeno cheese dip and more! Their cut-off date to order is November 15.
The Culinary Studio collaborates with another local eatery, Salt and Honey, on holiday kits that include pies, wine and a charcuterie board. Let The Culinary Studio’s sides be the final touches on the Thanksgiving table to ‘wow’ your family and guests!
We are thankful for our small businesses and thankful for our readers like you. This November, show your appreciation for local businesses and remember to Buy El Paso!
