For some of us, one of the most special relationships we have is with our furry four-legged friends. Dogs are special and become family for those of us who are lucky enough to have a tail-wagging partner. This week on our Buy El Paso Adventure, we are taking you on a walk to see two of the very best places to spoil your pet and keep them happy, healthy and clean.
Our first stop along the way is Glamour Pooch LLC, where we meet with the dog salon’s owner, Anita Gonzales-Apodaca. Anita and her team are committed to caring for all sizes of fur babies across El Paso County. The store offers a variety of services, including bath brushes, full grooming, deshedding, flea and tick treatment, and anything else your fur baby might need.
Additionally, Glamour Pooch has a specialty boutique for your pets with everything from sports jerseys, gourmet cookies and birthday cakes to doggy shoes, pillows, collars, harnesses and everything in between. “Customers love it because it caters directly to our fur babies for a great price,” Anita says. The next business we visit is Dog Lovers Grooming, a dog salon and specialty product store, where we meet one of Dog Lovers’ groomers, Frank Reinhardt. He explained to us the unique quality of their store: Dog Lovers offers self-washing stations for you to wash your pets yourself. In case you would prefer to leave it to the professionals, Dog Lovers offers full grooming services and even sells specialty products for dogs that may be experiencing dry skin, irritation, fleas or other mild conditions.
