Our first stop was Eco Turf, a landscaping company specializing in installing synthetic turf. There we spoke with the owner, Esmerelda Rodriguez, who told us a bit of the history of Eco Turf. The company started five years ago and mainly did xeriscaping. Then after seeing the need for green spaces to match the desert climate, they moved into artificial turf. Though nowadays, Esmerelda says the company does everything from irrigation systems to concrete and all other landscaping needs. “We have done more and more to better serve our customers’ needs,” says Esmerelda.
Our next stop was to Arrow Construction, where we spoke with the owner Robert Fernandez. In 1999, Robert had the bright idea to start his construction and landscaping company and has seen success ever since. Arrow Construction is bonded; it is fully insured and licensed to do contracting work in El Paso County. Arrow Construction does landscaping, irrigation systems, residential and commercial additions and remodels – including kitchens, bathrooms and just about everything, as far as residential construction is concerned.
