Due to the historic outbreak of COVID-19 in our community, El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego issued a Shelter-in-Place order on October 29, which includes the following provisions:
  • Effective at 11:59pm on October 29, all non-essential services in El Paso County must shut down for two weeks. 
  • Tattoo parlors, hair salons, nail salons, gyms, massage parlors and in-person dining are impacted.
  • Grocery stores, government offices, childcare facilities and healthcare services are not impacted.

  • All residents of the City of El Paso and El Paso County should stay home at all times except when accessing essential services.
  • A countywide curfew including the City of El Paso remains in place each night from 10pm to 5am.
  • All bars in El Paso County, including those within the City of El Paso, must remain closed.
